All 0f you are aware that the next All India Conference (TWENTY NINTH) is scheduled to be held at Thiruvananthapuram from 10.3.2013 to 12.3.2012 and the Kerala Circle Union has come forward to host the conference. Since the formation of NFPTE, no All India Conference of our union was held in Kerala Circle over this 58 years and this is the first time we are holding our AIC in Kerala Circle.
The process of formation of the Reception committee was earlier commenced and the formal meeting for declaring the committee members has been held at Thiruvananthapuram on 6.9.2012 at 17.00 hours under the president ship of Com M. Krishnan, CHQ President and the Secretary General, NFPE. More than 1000 comrades from various parts of Kerala circle attended the meeting. It is most pertinent to mention that the representatives of 67 fraternal organisations of Central & State Govt and other labour unions.
Com. Kodiyeri Balakrishnan, Deputy Leader, Opposition, Kerala inaugurated the meeting with his valuable address. The other prominent speakers were Com Chandrika, Hon’ble Mayor, Thiruvananthapuram, Com K.Varadarajan, Manager, Deshabimani, Com S.S.Potti, CITU, Com C.C.Pillai, Ex Secretary General, NFPE, Com P.Balakrishnan, Ex Secretary, NFPE, Com P.V.Rajendran, Vice Chairman, Circle Coordinating committeeand Com K.V.Sridharan, Ex General Secretary.
The reception committee was formed under the Chairmanship of Com K. Chandrika, Hon’ble Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram Corporation. Com M.Krishnan will function as Working Chairman of the reception committee. Com Jacob Thomas, Financial Secretary Kerala Circle has been selected as the General Convenor of the Reception committee. Various sub committees were formed duly consisting the representatives of various organisations Com Jacob Thomas delivered vote of thanks.
The meeting for the formation of the reception committee itself exhibited the thundering success of the ensuing All India conference. Detailed circular will be released shortly,
